面对第五波疫情严峻,周大福慈善基金联同陈张敏聪夫人慈善基金、傅德荫基金、嘉道理慈善基金、嘉里集团、利希慎基金、李锦记家族基金、思源基金会、李国贤基金会及择善基金会在三月至九月期间推行“社区户互撑2.0” 向弱势社群派发地区消费劵,以解燃眉之急,并带动地区消费。

为让受惠的基层家庭能更迅速地获得适切的援助,我们在“社区户互撑2.0”项目伙拍12家NGO机构并给予他们灵活的空间,设计更切合服务对象需要、具地区特色的计划,当中有部分NGO更邀请了当区居民参与协助计划的推行。

「社区户互撑2.0」在全港12区连结了超过200家地区小店合作推行。日前,开电视《一线搜查》访问了其中两家NGO以及有分参与项目设计的街坊,并走访社区小店了解项目对推动地区消费和成效,以及如何推动邻里互助和加强社区的凝聚力。

Hong Kong’s wealth gap reaches ‘tipping point’ under Covid as unemployment rises among poor, Oxfam says

The pandemic has worsened Hong Kong’s wealth gap, with the city’s poorest making 47 times less than its richest residents, Oxfam Hong Kong has said. In the pre-Covid era, the highest earners made 34.3 times more.

Record number of people gave to charity globally in 2021

A record number of people donated money to charities or assisted strangers in 2021 after three-year long reduction in 2018, according to the World Giving Index 2022.

At the other end of the spectrum, half of the countries or regions which declined the most in 2021 included Hong Kong, down by 13 percentage points.
